About our Speakers:

Marissa Wright
Marissa is a business consultant with 35 years of experience working with technology companies on their strategic planning, sales and marketing, and investor strategies, and has an MBA from SFU. She is a board member with AIDS Vancouver, a volunteer mentor at Groundswell Social Ventures, and helps co-produce a local sex-positive event for woman-identifying persons. Marissa’s feminism is informed by her experiences as a queer polyamorous transgender woman, by her experiences both as a transgender senior executive transitioning in the workplace, and now as a small business owner with clients in Canada and the U.S.
